Warm welcome to all visitors finding their way here from Elena's Models! Elena has been highly-supportive of our efforts in development of the Cross-Cultural Survey on Marriage and Divorce, and we sincerely appreciate the effort she has made to alerting everyone to this important survey project.
In the link below, you will be asked to register with an email to take the survey. The page also asks for your first name and last name but those are optional. The survey is anonymous, and the email you will receive is simply to provide some assurance the survey results will be valid. YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS WILL NOT BE USED IN ANY WAY EXCEPT TO COLLECT SURVEY DATA. Anyone wishing to complete the survey but does NOT wish to provide an email address may download a printable copy of the survey. The download link is provided below, and the fax number for recording input is shown in the downloaded file.
The survey is fewer than 20 questions, and will require less than 15 minutes of your time. Most people finish it within 5 minutes. It asks you about how you met, if you are divorced, and if you are divorced it asks about the causes of divorce, and a few other questions. It also asks for a telephone number (optional) in case we need to validate results, and it asks if you might be interested in follow-up surveys. It is not a lengthy survey and we hope not intrusive. It will answer many questions that have been lingering for a very long time - such as: What is the rate of divorce among cross-cultural marriages? Does a large age difference result in greater frequency of divorce? How many people would consider marriage to another cross-cultural spouse if their marriage were to (or did) fail? And many more similar questions.
